The Rotary Club of Innsbrook is celebrating its 20th year of providing service to our local and international communities. In celebration of our anniversary, we are preparing to break ground on a classroom addition at Coal Pit Learning Center in Henrico County. We also believe in Rotary International's Goals of International Service. This year we will be partnering with Bridges to Prosperity to build a footbridge in Zambia. Each year the RI President chooses a theme for which he wishes all Rotarians to focus on during the year. The 2009-2010 President, John Kenny, from Scotland has chosen "The Future of Rotary is in Your Hands". He believes that each individual Rotarian makes this organization thrive. Kenny wants each club to serve their community in the best way they see fit. And I can tell you that Innsbrook Rotarians take this challenge seriously, and we are ready to show how our 200 hands can make a huge difference in this big world.
Rotary offers its members a turnkey method for performing community service, the opportunity to demonstrate leadership, enjoy fellowship, and networking with a vibrant group of community leaders. We hope you will consider joining us as we put our hands together to make this world a better place.
