The Marcy Handshaw/Karl Weisenburg 4 Way Test award has been presented annually to a member of our club to honor these former members. Marcy was very active in the community, as well as in Rotary. She served on the board of SCAN and was a key member of our Auction for Youth committee for several years. Karl was very involved in the MedLink project, which was a combined Rotary project with several clubs in Richmond and Portsmouth. We would collect used medical equipment and truck the items to Portsmouth. The local club there would package and ship to all areas of the world where the equipment was most in need. Karl also handled all of the printing for club materials at a very favorable cost for the club.
Marcy and Karl both passed away suddenly within a few month of each other. Our club has created this award to honor their memory. Members of the club nominate someone who, in their opinion, consistently applies Rotary's Four Way Test in their personal, civic and professional life.

The Rotary Four Way Test Of The Things We Think, Say, or Do:
Is it the Truth?
Is it fair to all concerned?
Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
